10 Day Kenya Safari Adventure and Relaxing Mombasa Beach Vacation

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be greeted by our airport representative and safari driver-guide. They will assist you with the meet and greet process. Following that, you will receive a thorough safari briefing. After the briefing, you will be transferred to your city hotel for an overnight stay. Complete the check-in process at the hotel, and the rest of the day and/or evening is free for you to leisurely explore. Overnight in Nairobi

Breakfast in the city hotel and depart for Maasai Mara Game reserve driving along the bottom of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. The jewel in Africa’s crown, Maasai Mara, is host to the most spectacular array of wildlife; lions, elephant, giraffe, a variety of gazelle species, zebras among others. Rare animals are Cheetah, leopard and Rhinos but are still spotted. Game viewing is never dull in the Mara and patience is often rewarded with unique sightings: a pride of lion stalking their prey; a solitary leopard retrieving its kill from the high branches of an acacia tree; a male wildebeest sparring to attract females into their harem; a herd of elephant protecting their young from opportunistic predators. We will proceed to our camp for a late lunch. This afternoon you will enjoy a drive through this spectacular game area before returning to camp for dinner this evening. You may also choose to join the Maasai dancers adorned in their African regalia, moving to the rhythm of African beats. Their captivating dance and tunes will leave you feeling invigorated and culturally enriched. Overnight at the Lodge

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a full-day game drive with packed picnic lunches. Alternatively, you can opt for morning and afternoon game drives in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, with a break for lunch between the two drives. You may also choose an optional Maasai Mara Balloon Ride. The adventure begins with an early morning ascent. You will be picked up from your hotel at 5:30 am, transporting you to the designated launch site where you'll gather for the captivating takeoff. Revel in the experience of soaring above the plains at daybreak, gaining a captivating bird's-eye perspective of the wildlife below as the sun gradually illuminates the horizon. After approximately one hour in the air, the balloon gracefully descends, marking the end of the journey. Meanwhile, a delectable breakfast is being prepared in close proximity. The enticing aroma of bacon, sausages, and eggs wafts through the air, complemented by the sampling of exotic Kenyan fruits and homemade pastries. To add a touch of celebration, glasses of bubbly are available for those who wish to toast to the unforgettable flight—a tradition originally introduced by the pioneering Montgolfier brothers. After enjoying breakfast at the lodge, embark on a journey to Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its captivating game drives and its distinction as a haven for pink flamingos. This shallow alkaline lake, spanning approximately 62 km² in Kenya's Rift Valley, is a breathtaking sight. Established as a National Park in 1961 and officially gazetted in 1968, it boasts Kenya's largest rhino population. The park encompasses Lion Hills, Makalia waterfalls, distinctive vegetation, a picturesque landscape, and expansive yellow acacia woodlands. Noteworthy for its diverse birdlife, including the iconic flamingoes and pelicans, the park is situated within the Great Rift Valley Lake System and holds ecological significance as a RAMSAR Site and Important Bird Area. Lake Nakuru, covering 73 square miles (188 square kilometers), is globally renowned for its mesmerizing flocks of lesser flamingos that transform its shores into a pink spectacle. The park serves as a sanctuary for various animals, such as white rhinos, black rhinos, lions, buffaloes, leopards, hippos, giraffes, waterbucks, Thomson gazelles, Grants gazelles, impalas, white and black colobus monkeys, and about 450 bird species. The bush lands provide a habitat for eland, Steinbok, impala, Chandler’s reedbuck, and dik-dik, while rock hyrax and klipspringer inhabit the cliffs and escarpment. Begin your day with an early morning breakfast at the hotel, followed by an exhilarating game drive in the park before departing for Nairobi. Upon reaching Nairobi, proceed to the train station for your planned journey to Mombasa. If time allows, there is an option for a brief lunch stopover at a city restaurant (arrangements and payment on your own). Upon reaching Mombasa train station, our representative will be there to greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Alternatively, you can choose to fly directly from Nairobi to Mombasa at an additional cost. Overnight in Mombasa

After taking in the Kenyan jungle with its majestic views, you need time to reflect. So today will be at leisure and you can spend it lying on a beach bed after a massage, with your favorite cold drink, watching boats disappear into the horizon of clear blue waters. Your waiters will be at your beck and call, so you can lie here all day if you wish. We recommend, however, that you spare time for a walk at sunset, along the beach, barefoot, as the sun disappears on the horizon. Overnight in Mombasa on All Inclusive Board Basis
